Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026. This policy covers shinefloridalawncare.com and the requests you send us through it. Shine Florida Lawn Care is a family-owned business in Davenport, Florida.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms:

• Quote and booking requests: your name, phone number, email (optional), service address, details about your yard, photos you choose to upload, your notes, and how you prefer to be contacted.
• “Notify me” requests from the address checker: the address you checked and the phone number or email you leave.
• Address checker: the address you type is used to find its location on a map. We do not save it unless you send a request.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address and the pages you visit) for security. We do not use them to identify you.

How we use it

• To reply to your request, give you a price, schedule and perform the work, and bill you.
• To contact you by call, text, or email about your request or your service. If you give us your phone number, you agree we may text or call you about your service. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time and we will stop texting you.
• We do not send marketing emails or texts unless you ask for them.
• We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing. See Text messages below for how we handle your mobile number.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your service from our business number: a monthly billing reminder with your plan and the amount due, and occasional service updates such as a weather delay. We only text customers who signed up for service and gave us their number by phone, by text, or on the quote and booking forms of this site.

• Message frequency varies, usually one to three messages a month.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call (863) 288-9241 or email Shinefloridalawncare@gmail.com.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who else handles it

A few services run behind the scenes so this website works:

• Website hosting and forms (Cloudflare and Netlify) receive and store your form submissions so we can read them.
• Email delivery (Resend and Gmail) sends your request to us, and a short text alert goes to our business phone through our phone carrier.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers see your IP address when the page loads.
• Maps and address lookup on the address checker and Service Area page use OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, and Photon. When you type an address into the checker, that address is sent to those services to find its location.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and only receives what it needs to do its job.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on any public page, so there is nothing to accept or decline. The owner login area uses one sign-in cookie that only our staff ever see. If we ever add analytics, we will update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and service records for as long as you are a customer, plus a reasonable period afterward for bookkeeping and tax purposes. Requests that never turn into service are deleted within a year.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• see what information we have about you,
• correct it,
• delete it, or
• stop contacting you.

Children

This website and our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and password-protected accounts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date at the top.
