Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026. By using this website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms and to our Service Policies and Privacy Policy.

Quotes and prices

• Prices on this site are starting-at prices for a typical yard. Your exact price is confirmed with you by call, text, or email before any work begins, and that confirmed price is the one that applies.
• Custom quotes are good for 30 days.
• Fenced yards, unusually small yards, business properties, steep slopes, and badly overgrown first cuts may be priced differently. We always tell you before we start.

Bookings and requests

Sending a quote or booking request does not create an appointment. Your service begins once we confirm the plan, price, and first visit day with you.

Payment

Monthly plans are billed at the beginning of each month and are due on receipt by Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay. One-time work such as a one-time cut, tree trimming, landscaping, and repairs is due when the job is complete. A one-time cut is a single visit with no return visits unless you request another, scheduled where it fits in the route. If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause service until the account is current.

Cancellations and refunds

• Monthly plans: cancel or pause any time with 7 days notice before your next billing date. You will not be charged for the following month.
• If you have already paid for a month and cancel before all of that month’s visits are done, we refund the visits not yet made.
• One-time jobs: cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled day.
• Not happy with a visit? Tell us within 48 hours and we will come back and make it right at no charge.
• Visits we skip for weather or safety are never charged.

Your property

• Please make sure we can get in: gates unlocked and at least 42 inches wide on service day, and pets kept inside. If we cannot reach the back yard, we service the front and bill the full visit.
• Let us know about sprinkler heads, low lighting, cables, pet fences, and anything else hidden in the grass. We take care around what we can see but cannot be responsible for damage to items we were not told about.
• If you believe we damaged something, tell us within 48 hours so we can look at it and fix it.

Contacting you

When you give us your phone number or email, you agree that we may call, text, or email you about your request and your service.

Text messages (SMS terms)

Shine Florida Lawn Care sends text messages to customers who give us their mobile number when they sign up for service by phone, by text, or on the quote and booking forms of this site. Messages include a monthly billing reminder with your plan and the amount due, and occasional service updates such as a weather delay.

• Cancel any time. Text STOP to our number and you will get one reply confirming you are unsubscribed, then no more texts from us. Text START to subscribe again.

• Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies, usually one to three messages a month.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not share your mobile number or your texting consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

This website

• The address checker and service-area map are approximate. A “yes” result is a good sign, not a guarantee, and we confirm every address before service begins.
• The text, photos, and logo on this site belong to Shine Florida Lawn Care. Please do not copy them without asking.
• We link to a few outside services, such as the map provider. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limits of responsibility

We do our work carefully and stand behind it. Our total responsibility for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost time or inconvenience. Nothing here limits rights that Florida law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
